Albert Ramos Cortés is a Spanish born fine art painter whose wide gamut of artistic styles includes mural design and graffiti-style art. Early on in his career, he represented Spain in the prestigious “Meeting of Styles” worldwide graffiti event. Some of his works were included in many art exhibitions such as: ‘Fiction,’ ‘Deconstruct,’ ‘Great American Figurative Artists,’ ‘Notorious,’ ‘Algo Más Que Realismo,’ and ‘57th Stockton Art League Exhibition.’

Many of his works have been published in various trade journals and publications including Southwest Magazine, Creative Quarterly, Stroke of Genius 3, the Art Renewal Center’s 7th and 8th Annual Competition Catalogues, The Artist’s Magazine, Anuario Artelivre: Arte y Libertad VI and VII. His most recent painting titled “The Artist’s Locker” was featured in The Richeson75 International: Still Life & Floral.

His recognition is also shown by the numerous awards conferred on his work. He won first place at the Richeson (2013), the Southwest Art Magazine Competition for Artistic Excellence (2012), and the Oil Painters of America’s Spring Online Showcase (2012). He also won the August “Ben” Memorial Award at the Stockton Art League’s 57th Stockton Art League at The Haggin Museum (2012).

Recently, he was asked by the San Francisco Academy of Art University, from which he graduated with his Master of Fine Art in Painting, to serve as an Instructor for Fine Arts courses including Color and Design, a highly prestigious position.
