Andreas Öhlund’s illustrious career began at the age of nineteen as First Assistant of Photography for esteemed companies such as Studio Petrus Olsson and Studio Jimmy Backius. Mr. Öhlund also worked on a freelance basis as an assistant to various photographers including renowned art director turned fashion photographer Andreas Sjödin. His collaborations as assistant photographer to Sjödin took him to Paris to work on Vogue Paris, Revillion, Balmain and Azzaro, as well as to New York to work on campaigns for big fashion retailers such as Barneys, Banana Republic, and others, including the world's largest fashion retailer, H&M. After honing his skills as an assistant photographer, Mr. Öhlund began taking commissioned jobs as lead photographer. One of his first commissions was with multi-billion dollar Swedish clothing company H&M when he was only 24 years old, and to this day he remains the youngest photographer hired by it. Scandinavia’s leading agency for fashion photographers LUNDLUND, took note of Mr. Öhlund through his work as lead photographer on various projects, and he became highly sought after in Scandinavian and European markets. In the years that followed Mr. Öhlund was busy working for giants like GAP, Marc O´Polo, MEXX, and magazines like ELLE, GLAMOUR, VELVET and others. Through his skills, drive, creativity and professionalism, he has established himself as a fashion photographer of the highest echelon.
