Canadian soprano Allison McAuley is a versatile coloratura opera singer educated in both Canada at the Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario (Bachelor of Music) and New York University (Masters of Music). Ms. McAuley has been honored by receiving numerous awards including The Bethia Steward Hamilton Award in Music, The Graham Newsome Memorial Award in Music, and the Randall Marsh Memorial Scholarship in Voice. Her captivating performances in Mozart’s Der Schauspieldirektor, The Marriage of Figaro as well as other operatic credits have earned her praise for her vocal agility and expressive stage presence. Ms. McAuley has also appeared on CBC TV (Are You Maria?) and had a recurring role on Corus Entertainments’ YTV (System Crash). She will soon be performing with the New York Lyric Opera Theatre, the Saint Andrew Chorale, and presenting a joint recital in New York City.
